Charlene Longlade may collect and make use of personal information to assist in completing your personal tax return. She may also use your personal identifiable information as a means to keep you informed about the services and updates and be in contact with you regarding surveys and/or questionnaires related to your opinion of current or potential future services that may be offered.

Charlene Longlade may disclose your personal information to the Canada Revenue Agency and like departments such as, but not limited to GST?Trillium/Child Tax Benefits/OAS/CPP/EI, without prior notice to you, only if required to do so in accordance with applicable laws and/or in a good faith belief that such action is deemed necessary or is required in an effort to comply with Canada Revenue Agency.

T1013
By signing a T1013, you are authorizing Charlene Longlade to deal directly with the Canada Revenue Agency and to act as your representative for income tax matters. Income Tax matters include issues relating to information on your tax return. You can add/change information about existing representative through My Account at www.cra.gc.ca/myaccount or by completing a new T1013 form or by calling CRA directly at 1800-959-8281. It is your responsibility to monitor and understand the transactions your representative completes on your behalf, and to make sure that the information for your representative is current. You can view your transactions b using My Account. For a list of available services offered by CRA and available to your representative, go to www.cra.gc.ca/representatives.

Security
Charlene Longlade shall endeavor and shall take every precaution to maintain adequate physical, procedural and technical security with respect to our office and information storage so to prevent any loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclose or modification of the user's personal information under my control. In an effort to maintain a paperless office, all receipts and other manually entered documents shall be scanned and stored in pdf format, with original receipts returned to the client and kept for 6 years. Electronic files are encrypted on a cloud back up system provided by Carbonite, Inc. which collects, uses and retains personal information in accordance to the Privacy Shield Principles outlined in the Privacy Shield program from the European Economic Area (EEA).

All original documents shall be monitored by the client for 6 years. In the event that CRA requests such documents the digital documents shall be submitted to CRA on your behalf and/or Charlene might contact you for the original documents. Please retain all documents pertaining to the income tax return for 6 years. Any hard copies of documents retained by Charlene shall be kept onsite for 6 years, disposed by shredding.

Changes to the Privacy Policy Agreement
Charlene Longlade reserves the right to update and/or change the terms of the privacy policy, and such, the changes will be posted on the website at www.charlenelonglade.com. If at any time, Charlene Longlade decides to make use of any personally identifiable information on file, in a manner vastly different from that which was stated when this information was initially collected, the user shall be promptly notified via email. Users acknowledge and allow Charlene Longlade to cross reference your personal information in regards to other services offered out of the same office, such as Life Coaching and Real Estate Sales.

Acceptance of Terms
Through the use of my services, you are hereby accepting the terms and conditions stipulated within the aforementioned Privacy Policy Agreement. If you are not in agreement with the terms and conditions, then you should refrain from further use. In addition, your continued use of the services following the posting of any updates or changes to the terms and conditions shall mean that you are in agreement and acceptance of such changes.
